Payzone is the largest consumer payments acceptance network in Europe (in terms of retail points and number of countries served), with an electronic platform which processes annually over 630 million transactions with a value in excess of €13.4 billion for banks, utility providers, mobile operators and other clients.   Payzone provides services in 19 countries across Europe.

As at 30 June 2007, the businesses of Payzone had in excess of 240,000 points of service in more than 170,000 retail locations (including approximately 6,000ATMs) that cover a population of over 450 million people. Across this network, Payzone’s businesses deliver payment and cash dispensing services that drive greater efficiency for its Clients and increased revenues for its Retail Agents. The businesses of Payzone employ over 800 people in aggregate.

Payzone has an extensive Client base which includes leading companies in Europe across a wide range of sectors including financial services, utilities, retail and technology.

Payzone’s Retail Agent distribution network includes a full spectrum of retail outlets – from large hypermarkets through to stand-alone convenience stores. Payzone’s core retail distribution focus will be on the convenience sector, where it enjoys higher operating margins, and its cash distribution business will target the corporate sector, which has higher transaction volumes.

Payzone is well positioned for the future in terms of IT architecture, with multiple European data centres and in-house development expertise.
